Molchan Marine Sciences collaborated with TSI and AUSI and won a Phase I USN SBIR designing a mission planner that incorporates environmental conditions as well as AUV characteristics to maximize time on station or speed of data collection. The lab version of the mission planner will be built for use in performing sensitivity studies. Molchan Marine Sciences assisted in helping the team identify and understand input and output of Navy standard models and databases that might be used in the Mission Planner.
